A Virginia basement was transformed into an open space, perfect for entertaining. TV room, kitchen, bathroom and game room all flow together providing ample space for any party size, large or small. By removing an existing coat closet, we were able to create a kitchen/bar area. By reducing the height of the fireplace mantel, we were able to mount and wire the tv above the fireplace (creating perfect viewing from anywhere in the basement). We also added built-ins on either side of the fireplace for storage and kept the same 45 degree angle we used on the bar and flooring. With new paint, carpet, flooring and a pool table light, we updated this basement into the 2000's! In the bathroom, minimal updates were made to match the new basement design at a minimal cost. Vanity knobs, marble counter top, faucet, towel rod, tile floor, mirror, light fixture and metallic silver/grey paint were added as beautiful embellishments.
